DLC

Data Link Control, the data link layer protocol.

Duplex

The process of printing on both sides of a sheet of paper.

Finishing option

A feature provided by TOSHIBA printers and copiers for doing such things as 
stapling and hole punching documents.

Gateway address

The default address that provides a single point of entry to a network.

IP Address

Internet Protocol address of a computer or server attached to a network.

PCL

Printer Control Language, developed by Hewlett Packard.

Print stream

The information the AS/400 sends to its printer port. This information includes 
the text to be printed and various print commands for formatting the text and 
graphics.

Subnet mask

The method used for splitting IP networks into a series of subnets (subgroups).
