The MegaRAID Management Suite™ of
software is a complete spectrum of
applications and tools including advanced
online RAID management GUI and command
line applications as well as graphical pre-boot
utility. This new suite of applications features
a variety of configuration options and SAS
topology views from the system host,
controller and disk enclosure down to the
logical and physical drive level. This allows
administrators to efficiently configure, monitor
and manage RAID volumes locally or over the
network.

The MegaRAID SAS 8480E features two x4
external SAS connectors for high-performance
external storage connectivity. When used with
SAS expanders, the MegaRAID SAS 8480E
can support up to 122 SAS or SATA II disk
