Setting Address Precedence
Address precedence can be set to prefer IPv6 or IPv4 addresses when both types are available. The 
default setting is to prefer IPv6 addresses. Set Address Precedence using CentreWare IS.
To set address precedence using CentreWare IS:
1.
Launch your computer’s Web browser.
2.
Type your printer’s IP address in the browser’s Address field.
3.
At the CentreWare IS page, click Properties.
4.
In the navigation pane on the left, expand the Protocols folder, then click TCP/IP.
5.
Click the TCP/IP (v6) button.
6.
In the Address Precedence section, select the desired option.
7.
At the bottom of the page, click the Save Changes button.
Resetting the TCP/IP Configuration
Use the following procedure at the printer control panel to reset the TCP/IP configuration to the 
default settings:
1.
Select Printer Setup and then press the OK button.
2.
Select Connection Setup > OK.
3.
Select Reset Connection Setup > OK.
4.
At Reset Connection Setup NOW, press OK.
