Troubleshooting Printer Problems
Transport Area Jam
Follow these steps to clear a media jam from the transport areas:

Open the front cover and
pull down the transfer/sepa-
ration charger guide
(labeled A1).

If the most of the sheet of
media is visible, pull and
turn the fusing unit knob
clockwise while removing
the paper.

If the media is stuck at the
registration roller, turn the
roller knob counterclock-
wise, and remove the
jammed media.

Raise the transfer/separation charger guide back into place, and
close the front cover.
