Define User-Defined Characters
ESC = n1 

If C is the total number of characters
to be defined
B = (C x 13) +2

= MOD(B/256)

INT(B/256)

n3 = 20 in all cases
n4 = the code of the first character to
be defined

= 0 if the top 8 pins are used;

n5 = 128 for the bottom 8 pins

= 0 in all cases

The values 

through 

are the data

numbers that define the characters,
with 11 data numbers for each
character.

These character tables are selected with the DIP switches or by using a
software command.

All tables except the italic character table are the same as the PC437 table
for hex codes 00 through 7F, so only the PC437 and italic tables are shown
completely. The rest of the tables show only the characters for hex codes
80 through FF.

The tables with * after the table name are available in the European
version only.
