Paper of the wrong size 
was fed into the printer.

Load paper of the 
appropriate size  onto 
the paper feed tray and 
continue printing.
If Auto-Continue on the 
Control Panel dialog is 
On, the printer resumes 
printing automatically 
when a specified 
amount of time passes 
after this error occurs 
(see “Using the Control 
Panel” on page 5-6).

Printer is standing by 
waiting for manual paper 
feed.

Load a sheet of paper 
onto the manual feed 
tray.

Printer is standing by 
waiting for feeding from 
paper feed tray.

Load paper of the 
appropriate size onto 
the specified tray (Tray1 
or Tray2).

Paper misfeed.

Clear the misfeed and 
continue printing.
