The battery pack supplied with your computer is not fully charged at the time of purchase.

To install the battery pack

Turn off your computer and close the LCD screen lid.

Slide the LOCK/UNLOCK switch (1) on the bottom of the computer to the UNLOCK position.

Slide the RELEASE switch (2) on the bottom of the computer to the RELEASE position.

Remove the battery compartment cover.
