Appropriate Setting of the “SLIDE SWITCH” for the CPUs
When installing a CPU, make sure that the “SLIDE SWITCH” (S1060) is set correctly
according to the type of CPU used.

1. When CPU 3.06GHz is used:
Set the SLIDE SWITCH to the position of silk-printed “3.0G”, which is on the
BATTERY PACK side of the system board.

2. When a CPU other than 3.06GHz (2.53, 2.66, 2.80GHz) is used:
Set the SLIDE SWITCH to the position of silk-printed “OTHER”, which is on the
CPU side of the system board.

completing the assembly by removing the FAN from the bottom of the unit.
