Removing and Installing Parts

4 Release the computer cover by pulling it away from the front of the 

computer and lifting it up.

5 Set the cover aside in a secure location.

Removing the Support Bracket

 

CAUTION: 

Before you begin any of the procedures in this section, follow the 

safety instructions in the Product Information Guide.

1 Follow the procedures in "Before You Begin" on page 103.
2 Remove the computer cover. See "Removing the Computer Cover" on 

3 Release the card retention bracket by lifting the card retention release lever up.
4 Remove any cable(s) attached to the support bracket cable clamp.
5 Pivot the support bracket and lift it off the hinge tabs.
6 Set it aside in a secure location.
