Settings
Select [PICTURE] from the main menu, and 
select the item from the sub-menu.
Refer to Navigating through the menu 
(
 page 44) for the operation of the menu 
screen.

After selecting the item, press ▲▼◀▶ to set.
[PICTURE MODE]
You can switch to the desired picture mode suitable 
for the image source and the environment in which 
the projector is used.
1)  Press ▲▼ to select [PICTURE MODE].
2)  Press 
◀▶ or press the <ENTER> 
button.

The 
[PICTURE MODE] individual adjustment 
screen is displayed.
3)  Press ◀▶ to switch [PICTURE MODE].

[DYNAMIC]
The light output is maximized for 
use in bright areas.
[BLACKBOARD] The picture becomes suitable for 
projecting on a black board.
[WHITE 
BOARD]
The picture becomes suitable for 
projecting on a white board.
[DICOM SIM.]

The picture becomes similar to 
that of DICOM Part 14 Grayscale 
Standard.
[CINEMA]
The picture becomes suitable for 
movie sources.
[NATURAL]
The picture complies with sRGB.
*1:  Set the items other than [PICTURE MODE] to the factory 
default.

The factory default picture modes are [DYNAMIC] 
for still image input signals and [STANDARD] for 
movie-based input signals.

DICOM, the abbreviation of “Digital Imaging and 
Communication in Medicine”, is a standard for 
medical imaging technology. Although the name 
DICOM is used in the setting item, this projector 
is not for a medical use. Do not use the projected 
images for diagnostic purposes.
[CONTRAST]
You can adjust the contrast of the colors.
1)  Press ▲▼ to select [CONTRAST].
2)  Press 
◀▶ or press the <ENTER> 
button.
