Troubleshooting
If you experience problems with your B119-003 switch, try the following remedies:
• Connect an HDMI cable directly between the source and the display to verify that the cable is
operating. Repeat to test all cables.
• Once you confirm that all HDMI cables are functional, use two cables to test the ports on the
B119-003 switch. Plug one cable between the display and the OUTPUT port on the switch. Plug
the second cable between INPUT A and the source. Repeat with INPUT B and INPUT C, using the
same source. If all ports function, the B119-003 is operating properly. Note: To ensure that both
sources and display function properly, the combined cable length should not exceed 5 meters.
• If the unit is plugged in and the Power LED is not lit, verify that the power supply is functioning.
Use a voltmeter to measure the output of the DC adapter to verify that 5V is present. If output is
5V, the DC adapter is functional and the B119-003 switch has failed. Note: The positive (+) is in
the middle of the plug and the ground (-) is on the exterior of the plug.
