FE-100TX LED
The optional FE-100TX has one LED labeled 10/100. The 10/100 LED 
together with the receive LED allows the user to determine the link status 
and the operating speed of the Fast Ethernet Interface Module. The 
10/100 LED and the Receive (RX) LED are shown in 
 provide a functional description of the FE-100TX 
LED when the RX LED is on or off, respectively.

Off
Port enabled, and no 
activity.
Should flash green every 2 
seconds indicating BPDUs 
being sent if STA is enabled 
and there is a valid link. If STA 
is enabled, and the LED does 
not flash green, contact the 
Cabletron Systems GCC.
Green
Flashing. Indicates 
activity. Rate indicates 
data rate.
No action.
Amber
Blinking. Port in 
standby, link.
Port may be disabled due to 
Spanning Tree.
Red
Flashing. Indicates 
collision rate. 
No action.
Solid. Diagnostic 
Failure. 
Contact the Cabletron 
Systems GCC for assistance.
