Using the CLI
Operating on Multiple Objects (Range)
The CLI allows the user to operate on the set of objects at the same time. 
The guidelines are as follows for range operation:
• Operations on objects with four or more instances support the range 
operation.
• The 
range key word is used to identify the range of objects on which to 
operate.

<Delete, Backspace>
Delete previous character 
<Ctrl>+<A>
Go to beginning of line
<Ctrl>+<E>
Go to end of line
<Ctrl>+<F>
Go forward one character
<Ctrl>+<B>
Go backward one character
<Ctrl>+<D>
Delete current character
<Ctrl>+<U,X>
Delete to beginning of line
<Ctrl>+<K>
Delete to the end of the line.
<Ctrl>+<W>
Delete previous word
<Ctrl>+<T>
Transpose previous character
<Ctrl>+<P>
Go to previous line history buffer
<Ctrl>+<R>
Rewrites or pastes the line
<Ctrl>+<N>
Go to next line in history buffer
<Ctrl>+<Y>
Print last deleted character
<Ctrl>+<Q>
Enables serial flow
<Ctrl>+<S>
Disables serial flow
<Ctrl>+<Z>
Return to root command prompt
