Viewing the Difference between Configuration Files
View the difference between the running-configuration and an archived configuration using the command
show run diff
. In
, the running-configuration is archived as archive_3, and then the hostname is
changed to “FTOS.” The command
show run diff
lists each difference in the two files; in this case, there is
only one, the hostname.
