zoneAdd

Add a member to the zone.

Syntax

zoneAdd "zoneName", "member/member"

Description

Use this command to add one or more members to an existing zone.

This command requires a Zoning license.

To add aliases for three disk arrays to "Blue_Zone":

switch:admin> zoneAdd "Blue_Zone", "array3; array4;

zoneName

Specify the name of an existing zone, in
quotation marks.

member

Specify a member or list of members to be
added, in quotation marks, separated by
semicolons. Valid values can be one or more
of the following:

A switch domain and port area number
pair. For example, "2,20". View the area
numbers for ports using the switchShow
command.

Node or port WWN.

◆

QuickLoop AL_PA.

◆

Zone alias name.
