Using BOOT Loader

To change the main image that the M770 ATM Switch will next run, use the

flash 

default

command.

This command checks the integrity of the selected image therefore it may take 

a few seconds for the cursor to return.

To view the default boot loader image that the M770 ATM Switch will load, use 
the

flash loader

 command.

To change the default boot loader image that the M770 ATM Switch will load, use 
the

flash loader

command.

This command checks the integrity of the selected image therefore it may take 

a few seconds for the cursor to return.

Command:

M15-155s8:/>flash default <filename>

Example

M15-155s8:/>flash default m770ATM_new

Parameter: 

<filename>

The name of the image that the M770 ATM Switch will 
next run.

Command:

M15-155s8:/>flash loader

Output:

The current flash loader boot loader is 

“boot_loader.1.2.5”

Command:

M15-155s8:/>flash loader <filename>

Example:

M15-155s8:/>flash loader boot_loader.1.2.7

Parameter: 

<filename>

The name of the default boot loader image that the 
M770 ATM Switch load.
