• Let Adobe Encore DVD 1.5 create chapter points from markers in AVI and MPEG-2 files created in After
Effects 6.5 and Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5. Use Edit Original to update your projects and automatically import
the changes into Adobe Encore DVD.
• In Adobe Encore DVD, import layered Photoshop files directly as menus. All aspects of the Photoshop file
(layer effects, blending modes, adjustment layers etc.) are retained so that the menu can be sent back to
Photoshop for further editing at any time. Create animated menu buttons in After Effects for use in Adobe
Encore, or send menus created in Adobe Encore to After Effects to turn them into dazzling motion menus.
Creative Flexibility
Whether you’re editing the next Sundance Grand Jury Prize winner or producing a promotional DVD, the
Adobe Video Collection gives you the flexibility and power to experiment with confidence. Extend your
creativity even further with a wide range of available third-party plug-ins.
• Apply real-time video and audio effects with drag-and-drop ease, taking advantage of new effects and tools,
including advanced 3D effects in Premiere Pro 1.5, a Clone tool with five presets for footage cleanup in
Adobe After Effects 6.5, and auto-color adjustment effects in both. Also, many After Effects 6.5 effects now
appear automatically in Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5 when both applications are installed.
• Save effect settings as presets for future use in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
• Use powerful new bezier effect controls in Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5 to achieve smother, more natural results
when applying effects, as well as in motion paths and in changes in the speed at which they are followed.
• In Adobe After Effects 6.5, apply over 150 video and audio effects, over 60 of them new in this release.
Enhanced OpenGL support and a new disk-caching scheme improve real-time playback and previews.
• Animate layers of movies, still images, vector artwork, and text in After Effects 6.5 by setting keyframes for
layer properties, including position, scale, rotation, and opacity. Create and save animation presets for reuse
later, or select from the more than 250 text presets already included to quickly create text animations.
• Handle digital audio tasks within a single application. Adobe Audition 1.5 includes a 128-track mixing
view; a waveform editing view; over 50 audio-editing and creation effects, including new Automatic Pitch
Correction and a new Center Channel Extractor; looping capabilities and more than 5,000 royalty-free loops;
frequency space editing using a new Marquee Selection tool in Spectral View; and the ability to burn CDs.
• Jump-start DVD projects with a variety of pre-designed menu templates and button styles, as well as motion
and still backgrounds in Adobe Encore DVD. Store and organize those assets and new ones you create in the
enhanced Library Palette. Create your own menu designs, or customize predesigned templates to produce a
unique look. A new Styles palette makes it easy to save shape, text, and image styles for future use.
Professional Output
Use the Adobe Video Collection to deliver high-quality professional output to the media your clients require.
• Use the powerful Project Manager in Adobe Premiere Pro to quickly remove unused material from your
project and to consolidate your project’s media into one location for easy archival.
• Use the timesaving Render Queue in Adobe After Effects to streamline output when batch rendering files, or
rendering individual compositions to multiple formats (including newly supported export format MPEG-2).
• In Adobe Audition, use ReWire technology to add audio from another ReWire-enabled application to your
session, and then edit in both applications at the same time. Or use the Multichannel Encoder to transform
any multitrack mix into 5.1 surround sound, and then export the results for use in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Use Adobe Encore DVD to output DVD titles to all recordable DVD formats, or create DLT masters with
advanced replication features such as dual layer, region coding, and copy protection.
