Once the domain is administered and made inserv, no manual intervention is 
required to bring the domain back into service during recovery (for example, 
switch or VIS reboot) or upon restarting the voice system. 
If a VIS domain with a script assigned to it is in any state but inserv, the default 
script is invoked. Note that if the domain for the VIS agent (T/R or LST1) line is 
disabled, the VIS still takes calls on these lines.
Add Domain Entry
While the Domain Administration screen is active, press ADD to open the Add A 
Domain Entry screen (Figure 4-10).

The Add A Domain Entry screen contains the following fields.Refer to Figure 4-9 
and accompanying discussion for more information on each of these fields. 
The “Name” field indicates the name of the domain you wish to add. 
The “Type” field indicates the domain type. 
The “Ext” field indicates the extension number assigned to the application. 
The “Service” field indicates how the calls offered to the domain are han-
dled by the VIS. 
Press SAVE to add the new domain entry or press CANCEL to exit the Add A 
Domain Entry screen and return to the Domain Administration screen.
