TFTP target device IP address 10.0.0.3
Upgrade file name equal to CMN-XXXX.fl, where XXXX is the 4-digit Compliance Model 
Number (CMN) that is printed on the agency label of the KVM switch
To repair damaged firmware:
1.
Connect the KVM switch to the TFTP target device using a cross-over cable or hub. The TFTP 
target device must be set up with the default IP address (10.0.0.3). 
2.
Rename the upgrade file to the default file name (CMN-XXXX.fl). 
The Power LED will flash at about 2 Hz when the KVM switch is downloading the upgrade file, 
and it will flash at about 4 Hz when it is programming the downloaded file to flash. After it has 
restored the firmware, the KVM switch reboots automatically and the Power LED is lit.
Updating Network Access Software
For optimal operation of the switching system, make sure that you have the latest version of 
Network Access Software available from the APC Web site.
To update Network Access Software:

Double-click on the installer. The installer determines if a previous version of the software 
resides on the computer.

If no previous version has been detected and a window opens to confirm the upgrade, click 
Continue.

If a previous version is detected and a window opens alerting you to another version of the 
product, click Overwrite to confirm the upgrade.

Click Cancel to exit without upgrading the software.
4.
Installation starts. The Program Files, Shortcuts, Environment Variables, and the Registry 
Entries (for Windows operating systems) are installed or overwritten with the new files and 
settings of the current version.
