Preventing static electricity discharge
Before opening the computer case, follow these precautions to prevent
damage from static electricity. When opening your computer case, always
perform the following procedure.

Wear a grounding wrist strap (available at most electronics stores).

Turn off the computer power.

Touch a bare metal surface on the back of the computer.

Unplug all power cords from AC outlets and disconnect the modem cable
