OWNER’S MANUAL — Please read before using this equipment.
Thank you for purchasing a RadioShack 1-Outlet Electronic Equipment Surge Protector. Your
surge protector protects your valuable electronic equipment from damage caused by sudden
electrical spikes and surges and ensures the steady performance of the connected electronic
equipment by filtering electromagnetic and radio frequency interference.

Condition
The PROTECTED WHEN LIT indicator does
not light.
Solution
The surge protector's AC line is no longer
protected from surges; replace the surge
protector. The surge protector may have
received a power surge or spike beyond its
specified limits that might overload the
protection circuitry and make it inactive. If this
happened, the surge protector should have
absorbed enough of the surge to protect the
connected equipment, but it will not protect
against future surges and spikes
.

Keep the surge protector dry; if it gets wet,
wipe it dry immediately. Use and store the
surge protector only in normal temperature
environments. Handle the surge protector
carefully; do not drop it. Keep the surge
protector away from dust and dirt, and wipe it
with a damp cloth occasionally to keep it
looking new.

If your surge protector is not performing as it
should, take it to your local RadioShack store
for assistance. Modifying or tampering with
the surge protector’s internal components
can cause a malfunction and might invalidate
its warranty.

Be sure the total wattage of all connected
devices does not exceed 1875 watts.
Use the surge protector only with a three-
prong standard AC plug. The surge
protector cannot provide protection without
a grounded AC source.
Retain Instructions — Retain the safety
