In any consecutive set of characters (2 characters), the first character is the second char-

acter’s uplink, while the second character is the first character’s downlink. For example, in 
科技

,  科 is 技’s uplink, while the character 技 is 科’s downlink.

1. When using the WorldPenScan, the recognition results will be immediately displayed on 

the desired application.

1. The illustration shows a character that has been recognized incorrectly. 
2. Rest your cursor on the character for 1-2 seconds and a menu showing a 

list of suggested corrections displays.

3. If the correct character appears among the list of characters presented, 

click the character to have your current incorrect character replaced.

2. For example, the character 恬 is wrongly 

recognized as 恰, and 科 is wrongly rec-
ognized as 料 as shown on the right side.

3. Hover your cursor on the character 恰 

for 1-2 seconds and a toolbar displays 
listing possible characters. On the toolbar, 
click the 

 button (uplink) and a toolbar 

displays a list of combinations which are 
possible replacements for the character 
before 恰.

4. Hover your cursor on the character 料 for 

1-2 seconds, and again a toolbar displays 
the list of possible replacements. This 
time, click the 

 button (downlink) and 

a list of combination of characters for the 
character after 料 will display.

5. You will see that the wrong result『蒙恰

料技』

 is already updated as 『蒙恬科

技』

.

If you find an incorrect character in your result box, use the Candidate command to 

replace it with the correct character.
