Transfer to the Network Players
Sending Playlists to Network Players
When the playlist and the necessary materials are ready, send them to the network
players. Sending a playlist automatically sends the necessary materials, too. The
Scheduling Application automatically sends everything that is necessary for playout on
the day when you click the Send button on the main menu after specifying the date and
destination network player group.
Hint
• The system does not send the playlists and materials if they are already stored on the
network player.
• The system provides an automatic playlist sending function that can be enabled in
the Setup window. Once this function is enabled, sending playlists and materials is
not necessary during normal operation. See "Setting Up the Software" for details.

Click [Material Management] on the main menu if the Material Management window is not
open.

Select the Playlist tab.

Select the destination network player group from the Destination drop-down list box.
The playlists created for the selected network player group appear.

Select the playlist(s) to be sent.
To select more than one playlist, hold down the Ctrl key and click them one by one. To
select a range of playlists, hold down the Shift key and click both the first and last playlists
in the range.

[Send].
The system starts transfer of the playlists. It enables you to check the transfer status in the
Transfer Status window. See "Checking Transfer Status" for details.

On the main menu, display the desired date on the calendar by clicking its right and left
arrow buttons.
