Symantec Mobile Security Corporate Edition for

Symbian provides integrated antivirus and firewall

capabilities for Symbian OS Series 60 and Series 80

supported smartphones to provide proactive protection

against all Symbian file-based forms of malicious

threats, such as viruses, Trojans, and worms. Real-time

automatic and on-demand virus scan capabilities

protect files that are stored on the smartphones file

system, while the firewall uses protocol and port

filtering to protect the data and applications being

transmitted. Centralized management via a third-party

mobile device management enables administrators to

configure, lock, and enforce security policies either

remotely or locally, while automatic wireless security

and application updates keep on-device protection

current.
