COOKTOP VENT SYSTEM
The blower comes on automatically when the grill or griddle is turned on
and turns off automatically when the grill or griddle is turned off.
If the vent is turned on using the knob, the blower will not turn off
automatically and must be turned off using the knob.
The built-in vent system helps remove cooking vapors, odors and smoke
from foods prepared on the cooktop modules.
How to Operate Vent System
To operate the vent system using the knob, turn the
VENT knob on the control panel to ON.
Some models have a control that allows you to
choose blower speeds from low to high.
Continuous use of the vent system while cooking
helps keep the kitchen comfortable and less humid,
reducing cooking odors and soiling moisture that
normally creates a frequent need for cleaning.
