The report is sent only to the screen showing the status of the 
query request. An example of the query intransit media report is 
shown in the screen display 

The Query Media Class command obtains information about a 
specified Media Class or all Media Classes used in the VolServ 
system. A report is generated and can be sent to the screen, a 
specified file, or printer as shown in the media class query 
screen display. The report may vary if a Media Class name is 
specified or not specified.

If a Media Class name is specified, the following reports are 
available:

-

A report showing the Media Class name and 
associated parameters.

-

A report showing the Media Class name and a list of 
media associated with the Media Class.

A report showing the Media Class name and a detailed 
listing of all media associated with the Media Class.

If no Media Classes specified, the following reports are 
available:

-

A report showing all Media Class names and 
associated parameters.

-

A report showing all Media Class names and a listing 
of all media associated with each Media Class.
