Russound’s Complement™ Series subwoofers are designed to deliver deep bass from a space-efficient enclosure.

These subwoofers sonically match all of Russound’s full-frequency loudspeakers for great performance in either a

home theater or a multiroom audio system.

All three Complement

models have an innova-

tive dual tuning port

design that allows lis-

teners to acoustically

optimize the bass con-

tour for either a home

theater or music appli-

cation. With one of the

ports blocked with a

plug as shipped, the

music tuning provides a

flat response with extended low frequencies and more accurate timing for

critical listening. The alternate home theater tuning provides increased out-

put level to emphasize the impact of the soundtrack. The tuning ports are

also symmetrically flared to balance driver and port interaction for smooth,

noise-free operation even at high listening levels.

Each Complement model is housed in a black wood-grain cabinet. The

R10DT and R12DT models feature MDF

cabinet construction with asymmetrical

internal bracing that reduces resonance

for cleaner, less distorted sound.

The front-firing R10DT and R12DT models

feature a black cloth grille while the

downward-firing R8DT needs no grille.

Inputs accommodate speaker-level, stereo

line-level and low-frequency effects (LFE)

signal options, depending on the model.

Russound’s Complement Series sub-

woofers are designed for efficient opera-

tion with plenty of power for superior per-

formance and will complement any sys-

tem of your choosing.
