What ths manual does not gve you s a course n 

boatng safety, or how to navgate, anchor or dock 

your boat. Operatng a power boat safely requres 

more  sklls,  knowledge  and  awareness  than  s 

necessary for a car or truck.

For your safety, the safety of your passengers, other 

boaters and people n the water, you must:

•  Take a boatng safety course

•  get nstructon n the safe and proper handlng of 

your boat

•  Understand and follow the “Rules of the Road”

•  learn how to navgate

•  Regstraton:    In  addton  to  the  regstraton 

requrements for your boat n the state where t s 

used most frequently, many states requre addtonal 

regstraton when an out-of-state boat s used wthn 

ther boundares.  Contact state boatng authortes
