Press the [POWER] button for 2 seconds or longer.

The POWER lamp (green) illuminates and the

power turns on.
If you press the [POWER] button for 2 seconds 

• 

or longer when the power is on, the POWER 
lamp flashes, the power turns off, and then the 
lamp goes off.

Also, the POWER lamp flashes in the following 
circumstances.

Recording error has occurred

• 

Camera cable is disconnected (when the AG-

• 

HCK10G camera head (optional) is connected)

• 
  In line with the [POWER SAVE] setting in the 

[OTHER FUNCTIONS] setup menu, the following 
will apply if no designated operations∗ are 
performed for approximately 5 minutes during 
recording standby (when an SD Memory Card 
has been inserted).

 ON:   

The portable recorder turns off 
automatically.

 OFF:  

Does not switch off the portable recorder.
