Sun’s Gigabit Ethernet family of network adapters brings all your
Sun servers and workstations up to gigabit speeds. Sun provides a
choice of single-port, dual Gigabit + dual SCSI, quad-port and dual
Gigabit Ethernet PCI Express UTP and MMF adapters to meet your
high-bandwidth server-to-server, server-to-switch, and server-to-stor-
age connectivity requirements. All adapters support Jumbo Frames
and Sun Trunking 1.3 software. Jumbo Frames provide for large packet size (9 KB), and Sun Trunking
enables aggregation of multiple ports and ease of failover configurations, thereby improving through-
put and freeing up the processor for other tasks.
