Managed switches provide
wirespeed 10/100 Fast Ethernet switching specifi-
cally designed for small Enterprise workgroup and
branch office environments. This award-winning
switch family boasts advanced Quality of Service fea-
tures that can reduce the latency of packets through
the network, with specific traffic prioritization
improving the delivery of converged data such as
voice and high quality video over IP.

with two choices for Gigabit uplinks. The most eco-
nomical choice (OfficeConnect Managed Switch 9)
provides a fixed 10/100/1000 Gigabit copper uplink
while customers who require support for greater dis-
tances or legacy fiber support can deploy the
OfficeConnect Switch Managed Switch 9 FX which
offers the choice of a built-in 100Base-FX port and
an SFP slot that can accommodate 1000BASE-LX or
SX transceiver modules.
