Making a Second Call

Dialling Another Number

During a call, press ô Menu.

Using [ select SECOND CALL.

Enter the desired number using the numeric keypad.

Press ô Call.

Getting Outside Line

PABX Systems

Private branch exchanges (PABX) are typical in many
offices and some households. You must dial an outside line
access code in order to get a connection to the public tele-
phone network (PSTN) from a PABX.

Inserting Outside Line Access Code

Enter the outside line access code with which you reach the
public telephone network before you enter the desired
number or select a stored entry. The outside line access
code is usually 0.

During a call, press ô Menu.

Using [ select Deact..

Confirm with OK.

Switching Off Hands-free

Select Deact. again.

Press ô Deact..

Forwarding a Call to Dect

Function Only Available with Several Cordless Telephones Registered to the device

During a call, press ô Menu.

Using [ select CALL TRANSFER.

Confirm with OK.

Select the cordless telephone to which you would like
to transfer the call using [.

Confirm with OK.

Press ’, to hang up.

Getting Back the Telephone Call

You can get a transmitted telephone call back, before the
cordless telephone is picked up.

Press ô Menu.

Using [ select HANGING UP.

Confirm with OK.

Placing internal calls

Function Only Available with Several Cordless Telephones Registered to the device

In the starting mode, press {.

Using [ dial the cordless telephone you would like to
call.

Press ô Call.

Pressõ, and dial the other number.

Hot Key
Press õ and 1, to end the call and to activate
the call on hold.

Incorrect Outside Line Access Code
In rare cases, the outside line access code may be
a different number or a two-digit number. For
older telephone systems, the outside line access
code can be R (= Flash). Press R to enter this
outside line access code. If the connection to the
public telephone network is not possible, con-
tact your telephone system supplier.

Connection to Private Automatic
Branch Exchange
If you operate your device permanently at an
extension, store the outside line access code with
the 96 function (see page 40).

Low Battery Charge
This function is not available if the battery
charge of the cordless telephone is low. Place the
cordless telephone into the charging station.

Switching Hands-Free On/Off
You can switch the hands-free mode on and off
by pressing “ key during a telephone call.

Function Only Available with Several
Cordless Telephones Registered to the
device
This function is available only if you have regis-
tered several cordless telephones with your
device and the telephones are within the range of
the device.
