DATA SHEET
Cool-cube™
General Description
The Cool-cube is designed to move moderate quantities of heated air from an
equipment cabinet to another location, such as an adjacent room, crawl space, or
closet. It is also suitable for removing hot exhaust air from a enclosure that has
placed around a video projector. It can be supplied with 2", 3", or 4" (inside
diameters) flexible tubing; the largest size that will fit a particular installation
should be specified. Each size tubing is equipped with a hot air collector, a fitting
that makes it easy to fasten the tubing to any flat surface or the exhaust port of a
projector.
Cool-cube is controlled by a dual-temperature thermal switch (on a 10' long
cable) that turns the fans on at a low speed at 90 degrees (F) and increases to a
higher speed at 100 degrees. At either speed, Cool-cube is a very quiet air
mover.
Cool-cube can pull or push air, but is more effective when used to pull air; put it
at the far end of the tubing where the heated air is to be exhausted.
