Quick Steps for Configuring Switch Logging
Enable switch logging by using the following command:
-> swlog
Specify the ID of the application to be logged along with the logging severity level.
-> swlog appid bridge level warning
Here, the application ID specifies bridging and the severity is set to the “warning” level.
Specify the output device to which the switch logging information will be sent.
-> swlog output console
In this example, the switch logging information will be sent to the console port.
Note. Optional. To verify the switch logging configuration, enter the 
command. The display 
is similar to the one shown below:
Switch Logging is:
- INITIALIZED
- RUNNING
