Configures an outgoing BGP prefix6-list policy for an IPv4 BGP peer.

ip bgp neighbor peer_address out-prefix6list pfx_list_name

The 32-bit IPv4 address of the BGP peer.

An Output prefix list name (1 - 70 characters).

• The prefix list name (uniqLocal in the example below) is created using the 

 

command. Any outbound routes from the BGP peer must match this prefix filter before being adver-
tised or passed to outbound policy. 

• BGP neighbor must be configured.

-> ip bgp neighbor 10.0.0.1 out-prefix6list uniqLocal
