ip pim probe-time
Configures the amount of time before the Register Suppression timer expires, at which point the Desig-
nated Router (DR) sends a Null Register message to the Rendezvous Point (RP). This allows the RP to
refresh the Register-Stop. If the Register Suppression timer expires, the DR will resume encapsulating
packets from the source to the RP.

Usage Guidelines
• This command is used with both IPv4 and IPv6 PIM-SM.
• This command is supported only in the sparse mode.
