Press the 

key once the name is selected. If several numbers are associated with the name to be called,

you must first choose the number from the list (Mobile, Home, Office, etc.) using the

key. Press the 

key to make the call.

Information in the directory and the diary may be sent to and received from a computer using the
Alcatel PC suite (see page 96).

Select the directory in which you wish to create a file, press the “Options” softkey, select “Create file”
then 

. You can save the data you have entered at any time by pressing the “Options” softkey and

choosing “Save & quit”. Go to the following field using the navigation key 

.

When you create a new contact in the product directory, at least one of the following fields must be filled
in: 

Identity card, 

Birthday, 

Nickname, 

URL Address, 

Numbers, 

Image, 

E-mail,

Address, 

Notes, 

Perso. Info. You can move from one field to another using the 

key.

When the field “Birthday” is filled in, an alarm is automatically created in the Diary.

If you use your phone abroad, store the numbers in your directories in international format “+”
followed by the country code (see page 20).

1. Select the file you wish to transfer.

2. Place your phone or PDA opposite the other phone’s InfraRed port.

3. Select “Options/Send/Infrared”.

The transfer will take place.

You must activate the infrared via “Menu/Extras/Infrared”.

Once you have selected the option, the 

icon will appear on the screen (you will be disconnected if there

is an incoming call). 

A message will inform you of the data’s reception. Save the data by pressing
