• Authentication — Displays the method used to authenticate users. The possible
field values are:
• MD5 Key — Users are authenticated using the HMAC-MD5 algorithm.
• SHA Key — Users are authenticated using the HMAC-SHA-96 authentication
level.
• MD5 Password — The HMAC-MD5-96 password is used for authentication. The
user should enter a password.
• SHA Password — Users are authenticated using the HMAC-SHA-96
authentication level. The user should enter a password.
• No Authentication — No user authentication is used.
• Remove — Removes users from a specified group. The possible field values are:
• Checked — Removes the selected user.
• Unchecked — Maintains the list of users.
• Authentication Method — Defines the SNMP Authentication Method.

Web – Click System, SNMP, Security, Users. Click Add to configure a user name. In
the New User page, define a name and assign it to a group, then click Apply to save
the configuration and return to the User Name list. To delete a user, check the box
next to the user name, then click Delete. To change the assigned group of a user,
click Change Group in the Actions column of the users table and select the new
group.
