The 

 Global Configuration mode command enables SNTP 

anycast client. To disable the SNTP anycast client, use the 

 form of this 

command.

The SNTP anycast client is disabled.

Global Configuration mode

Use the 

 Interface Configuration mode command 

to enable the SNTP client on a specific interface.

The following example enables SNTP anycast clients. 

The

e Interface Configuration (Ethernet, port-channel, VLAN) mode 

command enables the Simple Network Time Protocol (SNTP) client on an interface. 
This applies to both receive broadcast and anycast updates. To disable the SNTP 
client, use the 

 form of this command.
