Parameters
• server-address — Specifies IP addresses of the name server.
Default Setting
No name server addresses are specified.

Command Usage
The preference of the servers is determined by the order in which they were 
entered. 
Up to 8 servers can be defined using one command or using multiple 
commands.
Example
The following example sets the available name server.
Related Commands
ip host
The 
ip host
 Global Configuration mode command defines static host 
name-to-address mapping in the host cache. To remove the name-to-address 
mapping, use the 
no
 form of this command.
Syntax
ip host
 name address
no ip host
 name

• name — Name of the host (Range: 1-158 characters)
• address — Associated IP address.
