OUTPUT MODE
The RDV-1060 can provide fully decoded 5.1
channel surround signals at the multichannel
analog audio outputs. Alternatively, the
RDV-1060 can “downmix” the 5.1 surround
sound signal to a 2-channel signal for output
to a stereo TV or audio system. A third alter-
native is downmixed 2-channel output with a
virtual surround feature that recreates the sur-
round sound spaciousness from two speakers.

You can delay the signal from the center channel
so that it arrives at the listening position at the

TEST TONE
To assist in the SPEAKER LEVEL setting proce-
dure, you can turn on a pink-noise test tone
signal that sequentially moves to each speaker
configured in the system. While this test tone
is playing, use the individual channel level
adjustments on the receiver or processor to
set equal levels for all channels.
