▄ Upgrading Firmware

After ﬁrmware upgrade is complete, click the

[FINISH]

button.

Disconnect the USB cable from the player.

Note

● To cancel ﬁrmware upgrade, click the

[CANCEL] button.

● Please take note that external impact and low battery while

performing a ﬁrmware upgrade may cause product failure or

other malfunctions.

● When performing a ﬁrmware upgrade on a Macintosh, please

follow the instructions on our web site.

▄ Troubleshooting

I cannot turn on the player.

■ The player will not power on if the battery is fully discharged.

Please insert a new battery and power on the player.

I cannot hear any sound or, I can hear noise.

■ Check the sound volume.

■ Your player may be inﬂuenced by the neighboring electrical

device.

■ If the music ﬁle is damaged, noise or sound interruption can

occur.

Letters on the LCD look broken.

■ Change the menu settings

Language to ENGLISH.

(See page 41) Then change the setting in the

File Info menu

to the

File Info. (See page 42.) If there is any problem that

you could not solve, please send an inquiry to the customer

support center. However, some special symbols or fonts can

be corrupted.

I can see that some memory is used but no saved file is

found.

■ You can check the data ﬁle only when the player is connected

to the PC.
