The Toshiba Power Saver feature that turns off the display to 
conserve power (and needs no password to resume operation),

The use of an invalid Display mode hot key (

) setting.

This hot key displays the power usage pop-up window and 

cycles through the power usage modes.

The power usage modes are: Long Life, Normal, and High Power.
