Front with the display open 
The figure below shows the front of the computer with the display open. 
To open the display, slide the display latch on the front of the display and 
lift up. Position the display at a comfortable viewing angle.

  Touch pad 
A pointer control device located in the centre of 
the palm rest is used to control the on-screen 
pointer. Refer to the Using the Touch pad 
section in Chapter 4, Operating Basics

Buttons  
Control buttons below the Touch pad let you 
select menu items or manipulate text and 
graphics designated by the on-screen pointer. 
 
Power Button 
Press the power button to turn the computer’s 
power on and off.
