Battery Pack
The battery pack powers the computer when the 
AC adapter is not connected. For detailed 
information on the battery pack, refer to Chapter 
6, Power and Power-Up Modes.
Fan Vent
The fan vents help prevent the CPU from 
overheating.
Battery Pack Lock
When you slide this into its locked position, the 
battery pack cannot be released even if you 
attempt to slide the battery pack latch into its 
open position.
Speaker
A third speaker to indicate bios beeps.
HDD1
Hard Disk Drives store data, files and programs.
HDD2*
Hard Disk Drives store data, files and programs.
