Your phone

‟s language settings let you select a language for the phone‟s screens and menus, 

as well as manage a personal dictionary. The input settings let you select a preferred input 
method, control keyboard settings, and more. 

The language menu lets you select an onscreen language.

 > Settings > Language & input > Language to choose a 

language from the list given.

 > Settings > Language & input > Personal dictionary to add new words 

to the device‟s dictionary or remove words from the dictionary. The words you add are used for 
spelling check and word suggestion. 

Configure text input settings.

Touch Default to set the default input method.

Tick the check box before each input method to enable it for use or disable it.

installed input methods include Swype, TouchPal, Android keyboard, and Google voice 
typing (integrated into the Android keyboard). See
