Quantum|ATL 7100 Series Library Operator’s Guide

The drive access door (see 

) is intended for use by field 

service engineers and is not normally used by operators. For safety 
purposes, an interlock switch removes power from the robotics 
equipment when the door is opened.

Always press the 

 button to open any library door. The 

indicator flashes until the current command is completed. 

Wait until the 

 indicator is on solid and 

System Off-line

 is 

displayed before opening the door.
