This topic describes how to find the serial number of a Scalar 100 library.

You can find the serial number by looking either on the lower left corner 

of the back of the library or on the floor inside the front door in the format 
8D0000123

, 9K0000123, 9U0000123, or 8L0000123 (for example, 

9U1234A02

).

You can remotely access the serial number from either the RMU or the 

SNC 6101.
From the RMU, click on the Status tab and see the serial number 

(9K0151402) that displays after ADIC for Library Serial # in
