The static settings in the
Configuration
section are:
•
Inquiry
— model number of the library
•
Model
— part number for the library
•
Library Serial Number
— serial number for the library
•
Firmware Version
— current firmware version for the library
•
IEEE ID
— unique serial number (contained in the status code)
•
Number Bins
— number of bins (all frames) in the library
•
Library SCSI ID
— current library SCSI ID used by the external bus for
a connection
•
Number Drives
— current number of drives (all frames) in the library
•
Barcode Retries
— current number of attempts for the library to read a
cartridge bar code
•
Online Power-Up
—if selected, online power-up is activated
•
No Barcodes
—if selected, the barcode reader is deactivated
•
Auto Load
—if selected, cartridges are automatically loaded
•
Auto Drive Unload
—if selected,
•
Auto Inventory
—if selected, inventory is checked automatically
•
Temperature Detection
—if selected, temperature detection is switched
on
•
SCSI Version
—this drop down box determines the SCSI version
number the library will use in an
Inquiry
response over the SCSI
interface. This option applies to the default library only, when
partitioning is not enabled. If partitioning is enabled, this option will
not be displayed. SCSI version can be configured for each individual
partition in the partition configuration page.
Note:
The actual number of bins may vary depending on the
PTM configuration.
