DEGREE
Select to display the shutter speed in 
degrees, where the shutter speed 
equivalent to the data reading cycle from 
the image sensor is displayed as 360°.
– When [PROG. SCAN] is set to [OFF], 1/60 
is equal to 360°.
– When [PROG. SCAN] is set to [24], 1/24 is 
equal to 360°.
– When [PROG. SCAN] is set to [30], 1/30 is 
equal to 360°.

• Shutter speeds displayed when [DATA CODE] 
is set to [CAMERA DATA] are always 
displayed in seconds

Tip
• Shutter speed slower than 360°are displayed in 
multiples of 360°, such as 360° 
×  2.
You can adjust the LCD bright intensity 
using the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial. The 
brightness of recorded pictures is not 
affected.

• You can also turn off the LCD backlight (p. 20).

of recorded pictures is not affected.

• When you connect your camcorder to outside 
power sources, [LCD BL LEVEL] is 
automatically set to [BRIGHT].
• When you select [BRIGHT], the recordable 
time with the battery is slightly reduced.
You can adjust the brightness of the 
viewfinder.

automatically at the time of recording is 
displayed.
